Where do live ?? It should only take a few days to make it out of QC if it it's a base Sky. And the shipping time depends where you live.

If you see some of my earlier post regarding how the build year runs. They aren't almost there. They are also sharing the same vin sequence with the Solstice.

Does that mean beginning with the 2007 SOL model year Sky and Sol are running the same VIN number block?

2007 model production until end of August

Sky 6484 (build since Januar 06)
Sol 4085 (build since last week of June 06)
total 10579 >>> should be the last VIN in August 2006

Thank's for info. Just asked that question on the Aug. production thread.

BTW I asked my dealer 2 hours ago about first deliveries of GT's.
His official Opel information says end of Dec.2006 but we both thought this is a little bit to optimistic.

Something concrete about start of Daewoo production?

So you are saying that my SKY, for example, with VIN 2040 is not the 2040th SKY built, but the 2040th Kappa built in the 2007 run. That would make it, more than likely, one of the first 1000 SKYs produced.

In the beginning from feb untill June 24th the vins were Sky vin numbers only. Then when they started the 2007 Solstice on June 26th thats when they start mixing vins. probably had something to do with the fact the Solstice was a 2006 model. So your vin would be the 2040 Sky built because it was before the 2007 Solstice. I think the mixed vin numbers start around 4500.

Your Sky with VIN 2040 is the 2040 build Sky.

Up to VIN ~ 4400 (production until mid of June) the counting are Skies only because the parallel produced Sols where 2006 model year with a separat counting.

Beginning with 06/26/2006 production of 2007 model year Sols they are counting out of the same number block.

Not so easy at all, took me awhile to understand that American way of counting here in Germany
