Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

They Lost My Car?!? (rant)

So, I waited all day to hear where my car is. Just got a call from my dealership that they don't know where my Sky is.

Now, it's only an 8 hour drive between dealerships. It was suppose to ship by Thursday (as previously posted). I was expecting it to be here by Saturday (nope) Sunday (nope) and today? No sign of the hauler

The trucking company is not returning my dealer's calls. The trucker checked in on Friday at the New Mexico way station (supposedly) .

So, my new mantra has been:

Where is my Car !@*%$

How can you lose an entire transport hauler?

Now, the weather has been pretty nasty here, so I haven't missed it as much as I could have ... but I'm getting a little worried!

Sorry folks, just wanted to vent!

Not to be a smart *** but maybe the driver thought he was on a NAFTA run and took a whole load South of the Border. Hope this is not the case and your new baby will arrive soon so you can start or . Good Luck.

Ahhhhhhhh, I remember the wait for this car. Started with dealer in June of 2006. Placed order with factory Nov 1, 2006. Took delivery Jan 26th, 2007. It was a long time. But looking back, it was worth every pain staking moment.

Truckers sometimes go home for the weekend. Since they get paid for the load, they make their own hours. Be patient, it'll show. Mine took from 15 days to go from Wilmington Delaware to Southern Maryland. Directly it is a 3 hour drive. They also don't make a run until the truck is full and stop at many dealers.

Yeah, my car was stuck in a "transfer lot" for about 4 days (only an hour away from me).

It'll show up...

On Star doesn't get activated until car arrives at dealership so that's not an option.

Well, It's been found.

Seems that it still has not left New Mexico yet

The driver was waiting for a full load. Now, I can certainly appreciate this fact, especially with the cost of diesel, but why not let me know this last week? Why not return the dealerships calls?

At least it didn't get "Thelma and Louised"

Still no delivery day, but it is suppose to be in the 70s this weekend so I'm hoping

Way back when the Skys were first getting delivered, everybody would rant about where is their Sky and it would show up within a week. We all called it the RANT TO THE SKY GODS. It seemed to work really well...Skip..just a little bit of Sky forum history...

OMG Skipper you brought back memories...
Remember you did not get delivery until you were ranting, raving and this close to calling and cancelling your SKY order...
