Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

Trading in the 07, bought an 08 redline

I finally did it.... I went out and bought an 08 Redline Carbon. Decided it was time to get rid of the 07 and buy a car with zero clicks.... I get it tomorrow morning!

I have to reply to this thread myself.....

I just received a follow-up call from Hahn Racecraft. After many problems with my 07 sky, and being screwed by my dealer I had received warranty service from Hahn on a Stage 2 turbo setup. I bought my car from the dealership already modded, and with "Full Warranty" as they did all of the work. From day one it had a slight miss. The dealer always told me that it was just the turbo. I knew there was something wrong, but they told me no.

So I bought the car. One and a half months in, the motor went. I was told it was the tuning, the turbo, anything to blame it on something other than the car. I was angry, because the dealer replaced the motor, but still was adamant that there was nothing wrong with the car. Fast forward a month to where my cartridge went in the turbo. I hastily posted an angry message on here.

That night (at about 11 0'clock) just minutes after posting, my phone rang. It was Bill Hahn himself. We worked out getting the turbo to him, reflashing the ecu, and really making this car run right.

I was beside myself. HAHN himself called and wanted to help me. My dealer didn't even care to find the problem, but somehow Bill HAHN found this to be a big problem for him. Three weeks later I had a reflashed ecu, rebuilt turbo, and a catless downpipe.... And a MONSTER. The car screamed.

A week ago, after more visits to the dealer, and lots of arguing, they finally agreed that there was an electrical problem in the car. Way I see it the dealer screwed me. Anyhow, on Saturday, my birthday of all days I picked up my new Carbon Flash Redline.

It embarrassed me that after all HAHN did for me, I traded that car in, and they called me two days later to see how I was making out. In the performance parts industry there are usually so many disclaimers, how can one company offer service like this to people. I can't stress it enough, if you are looking at a sky, and aren't sure what to get, buy whatever you like.... But when it comes time to mod it, the new Redline is getting Hahn parts!
