AUGUST MASSC Event - Tubing on the Delaware

Okay, since plans for July are coming together, I think we should start deciding on when we will go tubing in August.

I would like to get the date selected so I can get a rough head count and contact the tubing place for a group discounted rate. (This is what Edmund did last year and it worked out pretty well.

I'm gonna make this a poll so that folks can vote for which dates they are available. Then we can decide on the date. I will make the poll multiple choice, so PLEASE SELECT ALL DAYS THAT YOU ARE AVAILABLE.

Choices are:

Saturday, August 2nd
Sunday, August 3rd
Saturday, August 16th
Sunday, August 17th
Saturday, August 23rd

(I put some Sundays in there because I know some people work on Saturdays. But majority will rule on this, I guess.)

It was like $20 bucks with a quick lunch on the river included. It was a fun day. Relaxing or athletic depending on how much you swim against the current.

I like to see anyone swim against that current...it's a one way trip. And remember, the water is only 4 feet deep...did i mention snakes r in the river.

Well, tell him to get over here and vote for himself!

I don't think I can alter the poll results, but I'll make a note of it.

If we make arrangements for the group discount, it is $17.95 per person and there is an additional $5 per car parking charge as well. (Regular price is $21.95 plus parking). The price includes lunch along the river at a floating hot dog stand.

It is located in Frenchtown, NJ, along the Delaware River and is not too far from Lambertville, NJ/New Hope, PA. Last year after tubing we headed to New Hope for some drinks and an early dinner.

Here is the tubing company's website, for those who like to know the details.
Delaware River Tubing - Hunterdon County and Bucks County River Country Territory

For those that did not attend last years event...the Hot Dog Man was very disappointing...it is a BIG NOTHING...but the tubing was great and did we have a GREAT GREAT time...New Hope will be amazing...including the Brewery.
