What is Enduro?
The enduro is a distance event - each competitor gets 1 or 2 runs of set period(s) of time (2007 had 2 runs of 4 minutes scheduled, but the second run was cut to 3 minutes). Each competitor runs for the set amount of time and the number of whole laps and fraction of last lap are counted. Distance marker cones are placed at 50 foot intervals and on the last lap the number of cones passed before time expired are scored and added to the lap total. For scoring purposes, the average lap time is computed and entered into the timing software (which doesn't understand distance).

The first two times out, I absent mindedly didn't realize that the second lap counted, oh well. And my fastest time of the day was a 67.5. That put me at 30th for the day separated only by a fraction of time from first.
