It'll work if you get an early start. There's a 7:00 ferry from Bridgeport, which would put you in Port Jeff at 8:15. The drive to the starting point is a straight down Rt. 112 and is estimated by Google Maps at 22 minutes. I don't really think it would take that long, especially at that hour.

Launch time is currently scheduled for 8:30, but if any of y'all want to come down, Dan may be flexible on that. Contrary to general perception, he's actually quite reasonable. (OK- he bought me lunch last week! )

Afterward, you could take the ferry back from Port Jeff or drive around, or you could break off after Montauk Point and lunch and sail home from Orient Point. What say you?

Maybe I can make this one on the 22nd, I had to give up on the Hudson Valley trip this weekend due to work schedule. I'll have a better idea by next Monday.

Tubing is in Jersey, though on the Delaware River. Here's a map- don't want anyone heading to DE accidentally!

Yes, my bad, I did not mean to be so specific as to point others, I was being general. That area of Jersey is about as far for me anyway.

Where is the map???
