Wow one more and there will be 10!

To receive a free listing in the GM Roadster Car Club Directory directory, the car club must have at least five members and over half must be GM roadsters (Saturn Sky, Pontiac Solstice, Opel GT).

We have the minimum requirements, now all we need is a catchy name, patch graphics and membership requirements / activities agenda.

Looking for ideas?

I'm thinking of something like "New England Kappa Car Club"
Patch with a back drop of the states, (for now CT, MA, & RI could expand to VT, NH, and ME if their interested? Some great rides up that way!)
of course both a Sols and Sky and club name around border?

Still working on rest, like a website etc...

Nekcc?

Perhaps contacting WCKCC would provide ideas for structure, activities, etc.

I don't know if they would be interested in an affiliation of some sort. The greater the number of members the greater the likelyhood of attracting group discounts, benefits, etc.

Just a thought.

Or maybe SNEKR

Thanks ozyman222,
I'll try to get in touch with the West Coast Kappa Car Club (WCKCC) tomorrow,

jayman - Does this mean you want to assume the secretary position - "can i take dictation"

Deluke - good luck with the therapy - hope everything works out for you.

How about "Southern New England Kappa Roadsters"? aka "SNEKR"

I think that would get some votes. Also if I am not mistaken, as I think about it, there already may be a club similiar to the name New England Kappa Car Club based a little further south. ( NJ maybe )

Ok it's a go - we just broke member #10

Thanks denette for the offer from the Arizona Sky-Solstice club.
I've followed your progress at http://www.sky-sol.com/ and the West Coast Kappa Car Club http://westcoast.kappacarclub.org/ for many months now.

I have to admit I think I like your current web format a little better but you both have great car clubs and can't wait to meet up with many of you at a national sometime.

I've added a list to my first post of the interested members so far.
We have a forum - Let's get this thing going.

I'm going to post a poll to start the vote for a name with those already thought of - I'd like to lock in a web URL this weekend if possible. If you have any other ideas - PM me and I'll add them to the poll.
