DC Kappa Lunch and Run - This Saturday!

I thought I would let you know that some of us over at solsticeforum are putting together a short lunch and run this Saturday in the DC area. See below and click the link for more info. Post there and I can add you to the list. What is a run without a few Skys

Hi all,

So, some of us in the Maryland thread have been tossing around the idea of putting together a run for this Saturday. I am so down with this idea, and am happy to start finalizing info.

Date: Saturday, May 5th

Time: 11:30AM at my house, OR 12:30PM at Colonel Brooks' Tavern

Where we can go: Down around the monuments, out into Northern VA on Georgetown Pike out to Great Falls, maybe get some pictures at the monuments. I am also happy to take whatever suggestions you all have for fun routes in the area.

I set up the different times because I have a whole car-wash setup, so if you want to wash your car at my house, you are more than welcome to. This way, I can also lead you down to the tavern. If you want to know where to go to get to my house, message me. If you want to meet at the tavern, thanks to smartin for locating the address If you want non-mapquested directions (they get crazy in NE), let me know.

I've been looking for a Kappa club in the Washington DC area. How do you become a member? I just might swing by and check you guys out.

hey jazfreek,

well, there really isn't a membership, per se, though there is an email list. Over on solsticeforum, a guy who uses the name PAO puts it together. If you join there, message him and he can add you to the list. Or, just message me with your email address and I will email him to add you.

Come on by. We are nice guys...I do not know many of the people coming. We are just gonna have some fun and drive around. Meet us at the Colonel Brooks Tavern (see address at first post) at 12:30 and hang out. It should be fun!

I had a great time with you and the rest of my new Kappa buddies! It was fun driving through DC and Northern Va and seeing people's reaction to 6 Solstices and a Sky zooming down the street in a single line. I look forward to doing something like this again. Who knows maybe next time some of my fellow Sky owners will come out as well. Thanks again for the invite!
