Hudson Valley National Car Show
Sunday July 15th 8-4pm. This is a new one being advertised in my area.
http://www.stormvilleairportfleamark...therevents.htm I will find out the particulars. Could have potential to finally get some of you out for a Hudson Valley Ride. Let me know if you are interested. Bob and I had some great BBQ this weekend at Holy Smokes in Mahopac and then took a cruise up the twisties near Bear Mountain Bridge last Sunday. Anyone interested in a cruise could get in some of everything on your way to this show...Hudson River views, some Taconic Parkway and not too many stop lights, unless you head up 6N for the BBQ. |

Sounds Good. Do we need to register our cars and pay $15 ahead of time?? Or do you want to just go and find a spot in the visitors lot? I wouldn't mind entering my Ride, I have another Mod comming (Shhhhhhhhhh
).Haven't seen you guys in a while, I have been a little crazed lately. I will try and call you friday night 7/6. Still have to work on our logo, maybe you guys can pop over the house one weekend and we can work on it together. |

Maybe?
I have to talk to the Boss (that would be Mrs. Skyman).
If I can turn it into a wine tasting weekend, maybe I can pull it off. See you both this Sunday at Mohegan Sun

But if you can't make that one.... Bob and I will definitely be attending the Good-Guys 16th East Coast Nationals in September. We missed the May show...oops we were just down the street having a beer with xmicro that day! There are so many sweet cars at this show your eyes get boggled ...It would be great to have a big Solstic-Sky turn out for that. And I am pretty sure there is some wine in the area. And a drive in movie theater, or two! for those of us into that.http://www.good-guys.com/events/even...eventid=07-606 |

Sorry, guys Mrs Skyman-CT and I had planned on making it an overnighter and visiting a couple wineries on Saturday and then hook up with you on Sunday but I just found out today I'm stuck working the entire weekend.
Maybe a trip over for the 16th East Coast Nationals in September will work out better. Have a good time and I hope a few more SNEKR's will be able to join you. ![]()

If you like old cars you will LOVE the September GoodGuys show and that is a better time of year for the wineries (I think) We should pick a date and see if we can schedule a cruise TO the show. Pretty good 'no stop light' cruisin up to Rhinebeck or we can take the Taconic. Love to see some of the MAASC and LI guys and gals...nothing like a cruise in the Hudson Valley with fall in the air. ![]() |

Thank you
I wanted to take a minute to thank a couple of your members for taking the the to show my wife and myself their Sky redlines. They also took the time to make me feel welcome and asked me to bring my car over to where they were parked I do not own a Sky. I have a own a cobra, my wife wants a redline and to tell you the truth after looking at the car I want one also. Paul and Bob and the young lady who was with them whose name escapes me please forgive me. They made me feel like we have been friends for years. You guys are very lucky to have people like this in your car club. P.S. thanks for lunch guys.

Skycruzr(Bob and Kathy) and myself had a great time at this car show today. Judging was totally biased toward the classics and antiques and the catagories had no catagories for roadsters or new cars.
Otherwise we meet some great people and made more new friends. Here are some pics of our cars then the classics. PS a storm blew in and some of the tents blew away and I am sure people were hurt and cars were damaged. We hope all the people and cars made it out safe. I'm telling you those tents started blowing away and I was screaming Auntie Em! ![]() HEY BOB AND KATHY, I just posted some of both cars. I figured you would want to post ones of your own car also! Tried not to be a totally hog! Last edited by xmicro_Redline : 07-15-2007 at 10:46 PM. |
