Important Notice Mohegan Sun Meet

I was just on the Evolution fourms and tuner net work has posted that the usual first Sunday meet at Mohegan Sun , July 1 will be moved to July 8th because their whole group is attending a meet by altered image on the weekend of June 30th/July1st.

We had a bigger turn out than the tuner-network forums anyway, should we just still have our own meet? Or do people want to have it when they have thiers? I'll go both times!

I too maybe able to make that July 8th date.

I will be lodging in Thomaston, Maine July 6th to attend a wedding in Cushing, Maine on July 7th. And plan to leave Thomaston on the morning of the 8th.

So if the reception is not too wild ... I will be up and out early enough to be there.... ah what time ? Noon?

Hey All,
I was just asked to post a notice over here asking that everyone try to be extra careful at these meets. I guess someone almost hit a wall at the last meet ( dont know the whole story ) but anyway, the reason they let the meets take place is that they have been incident free. So we all ( Evo's, Sky's, Suby's, Honda's, etc etc ) need to be extra careful so that we will be welcome there. Please dont flame me on this, I'm just relaying a message so that we may continue to have fun there, Thanks

Nobody got close to anything. They are probably complaining when I let my back end out about a foot, now all the sudden someone almost hit the wall. I was in total control. I am not flaming and understand the need to lay low, but give me a break. Just blame it on the New Yorker!!

Anyway, we will always be welcome there, I have so much of there freakin' money, and they want it back.
I get a call once a month with comped rooms, meals, and concert tickets.

I probably will not be able to make the July meet......but...you never know!!

I wondered if you were ever going to own up to that! I plan to always behave there just so I never risk a conversation with the extra from 'Deliverance' that was driving that thing I think was supposed to be a truck!

Those guys were a bunch of youngsters. I have been driving like that about as long as they have been alive......Kids today!

In 1986 I was doing burn outs in my 75 Chevy Malibu in parking lots, keeps me young!!

Burn outs and slides happen at all car meets, I was not doing donuts or burnouts, but I will behave if I come...................hopefully

Close to a wall..................huh.......proposterous

WOW, you got 12 miles, that is awesome, I think I got around 10. It was my first car. Tan with tan interior and half cloth top. It was called a "Malibu Classic". Cost me $750 to buy and $200 to get rid of after I power dropped it to the point where I completely screwed the linkage up. Park was drive and Reverse was Park, etc. Ahhhh the good old days!! Still ran until the day she left me though!
