This is in response to XmicroRL and his wish to go to the shore...I hope he can make it...it is during the week...it is a Thursday. Nothing is written in stone because many people are on vacation. I have selfishly picked this date because it is one of the weekdays I will be home. This date may change if enough members are angry....but the locale is perfect and on the water...and if we stay long enough into the evening...the band shows up.

The nice thing about their parking lot...u can see your car with just a few steps.

I can do almost any date that week..but many of the Jersey members have Thursday as a day off...but nothing is written in stone and it is a month away....we need July 12th first..

Who's parking lot? Where is this place? Anyday is good for me - I'm on vacation that week. Fireworks on Thursday night and it's Hot Halloween night at Jenkinsens.

Funny u should mention that Michele. I was there for dinner last night and sure enough FIREWORKS...no it was not LOVE! Regarding the location...u know how u go straight down the street to hit the bridge...well, instead of going straight down...u make a left as soon as u cross the train tracks where SPIKES is...go down there and u have Wharfside and Lobster Shanty right next to each other... Here is another suggestion...we may want to make it as an evening or late afternoon event...this way we can see the fireworks...this has to be discussed...after ANTONIO moves his AZZ

The problem with Jenkinsens and Martels...there really is no parking other than the lot u have to pay for...and u don't want to leave your car there.

Thanks for considering me Mike, you are the man! Unfortunately weekdays are hard during the summer especially with all the vacations at work. A Monday or Friday in August/September may work, I can take a day off, but this one will be hard. I know we talked over the phone, but I figured I would post to be official!

Paul...Fireworks r thursday nights only...so, it has to remain this day. I believe a good time for us to get there is between 4 and 5 PM. This way we can eat dinner and enjoy the music and Tiki bar..fireworks when it gets dark. The thread title is now misleading...it should be dinner instead of luncheon.

If anyone wants to hang out in the afternoon at my house...u r perfectly welcome. BBQ and some beverage r always available.

I believe a good time for us to get there is between 4 and 5 PM. This way we can eat dinner and enjoy the music and Tiki bar..fireworks when it gets dark.
