yeah, we were kinda on the fence.. as much as we wanted to do this... we also almost had free Dorney Park Tickets for that same weekend ( Her brother's work party is there). But those fell thru, only the employee gets free... everyone else is reg price so nm!

seems as if this is the way this summer is going to be. We have nothing to do 3 weekends a month... and everything else falls on the same only remaining weekend =)

I know my name ends in a vowel, but I'm not in a organized crime "Family" now am I? Nobody is going to ask me to do a "Favor" later on are they? I'm not going to have to bury something in my back yard or hire their cousin or anything like that..........am I?

OK Cowboys and Cowgals:

I just got off the phone with Marie, The Keeper of the Gate at Wild West City.

WE HAVE PERMISSION to bring in TWO cars (Sky/Solstice) on Saturday. Prior to this phone call, Marie was giving me a BIG RED light on the cars but not the group, so I had already resigned myself to photochop duty for the calendar. This is a HUGE relief for me.

Marie's only stipulation is that we WILL have to be ON the property BY 9:30am and out the door by 10:30am, before they open to the general public.

Now, the only fair way to pick the two MASSC cars is to hold a lottery on Friday night. Winners need not be present but WILL need to get their cars washed for Saturday.

We'll be taking additional pictures (with all the cars and the entire group) under the Wild West City Cowboy sign afterward.

There are several car washes in the area, but as far as I know they are all the "drive-thru" kind and I wouldn't endorse them for our convertibles. (I'll see if I can find a "self-serve" place in the area.)

With that in mind, I guess I will volunteer my house as a car washing location for Friday afternoon before dinner (and possibly early Saturday morning if needed). I can supply a hose, a couple buckets, sponges and some car wash soap. Please plan to bring your own own microfiber towels and other detailing supplies.

I live about 2 miles from the Holiday Inn Express. I can PM folks my address, directions and my cell phone number so that folks can come by Friday afternoon/evening as they arrive in the area.

dengel's Car Wash will shut down once it is time to go to dinner Friday night, as I do not plan to miss out on any of the food or fun.

I'll bet it hasn't changed at all. It looks to be at least 130 years old. Really authentic and old. OLD and authentic. It will be a shock to the senses.

No, the only shock to my senses is a part of my new mail route which was named " Deliverance"..... I went to WWC....when i was in grade school and i bought a silver Sheriffs star and a silver 6 shooter with the "caps" sound, still it is good to see some things dont change.....oh so long ago.....SteveSky67
