It is approximately 1 mile from the Holiday Inn Express.

Both the hotel and Pub 199 are at Exit 30 off of I-80.

Time as yet to be determined, based on when the majority of folks arrive and get checked in to their overnight accomodations.

NOTE: Pub 199 DOES NOT accept credit or debit cards. Dinner will be CASH ONLY! So be sure to have enough cash on hand.

Ok, I did a map quest from out from my moms house, have to make a stop and it is about 38 miles 44 minutes, if i leave at 5:45 my E.T.A should be 6:45 with traffic, Solli gave me her comlink number, at least i think she did...anyway, i will touch (Rebel) base with her since i wont be in front of a computer until next friday..Do they accept Republic Credits? j/k....SteveSky67

Okay. I can PM you my cell number too.

You should pass by the hotel on the way, so if you see a bunch of Sols and Skys there, then we haven't left for dinner yet.

And sorry, but I don't think they'll take Republic Credits - unless you have mastered the Force well enough to convince them otherwise, Obi-wan.

FRIDAY NIGHT RESTAURANT UPDATE!!!

We've changed the location of the Friday night restaurant because Pub199 doesn't accept reservations, and the wait on a "normal" Friday night at 7pm is usually 50 minutes or more. I anticipate that this weekend will be worse since the area schools have their graduations and folks are celebrating.

So, we've arranged for a reservation at 6:30pm at The Black River Barn. There's plenty of parking space and a nice menu.

Black River Barn

We'll be meeting at the Holday Inn and leaving between 6:00-6:15pm.

Cool, Lisa knows that area, so we didn't need Mapquest. Wow, the first thing i thought of when i saw you post "No, We have your cell number", sounded something Vader would say .... I looked at the Menu and they really have some good looking dishes and they serve RC Cola, i had no idea that was still around, but i will get the Diet Rite.. ..SteveSky67

It's about 15 minutes. We're at exit 30 - the restaurant is 2.5 miles off exit 28. Not far.

Thanks...I was just wondering what time you all are headed back to the hotel. Having no one there when we arrive is a bummer. I will give SKYMAN-CT this info. Maybe if we arrive early enough, we can meet ya there. T.

What time do you figure on getting in? We have a few who are coming to dinner around 7pm or possibly later...

You can call me almost anything you'd like. Just don't call me late for dinner.

Except this time, that is. I allegedly get out of work at 5:30, and chances of me leaving early are slim. I even had to ask last week to get out on time tomorrow!

Okay - Now for the FUN STUFF!!

Anyone who has mapping software such as MapSource (and GPS units that allow uploading routes)...

...attached you will find a .gdb file containing the routes for the MASSC Skylands Rally!

I will have my laptop with me and can upload the route for anyone who has a nuvi 700 series GPS!

If you check the file out, you will see that there are a LOT of extra points on the routes. Those are there to make sure that your GPS will map well regardless of your personalized route settings (in other words - to override your GPS settings).
Attached Files
File Type: zip Solstice in the Skylands Routes.gdb.zip (82.2 KB, 20 views)
