MECCA II - Customer Care

During the Mecca II what issues would you like to discuss about your car so we can TRY to have the correct individuals available to talk to you.

i would like to remind the STUPID...don't embarass this forum and JustMike...don't bring up what Saturn did wrong...try to focus on things that r interesting and if they can be incorporated into future models...u may want to ask technical questions on how things operate...what i am trying to say...don't try to make yourself as a smart ass....because I hold that title....

By the way, I am still in Fla. guys/gals...I should be back by Wednesday...lets get together.

Last tour they had people in the parking lot from the different departments,
I remember the two guys from "Fit & Finish" asking "anything thats bugging you about your car?" and then tweaking peoples alignment issues no matter how small. There was a guy that was responsible for the Tops also walking around answering questions. Having someone knowledgeable of the different departments and being able to pick there brain was the best. I'm hoping for that to be the same this time.
Has anyone talked about inviting service people from the different dealerships so they can see how the cars they are working on are put together? not to mention pick up some tips.
Last year when I mentioned to my Saturn Dealer that I had attended a tour of the Plant the Techs said they wish they could do something like that in order to supply better customer service to us. That would go a long way in the moral department at the Dealerships and help us all in the long run...............
Just a thought

I would like to see if they can align my trunck lid. Had the car at the dealer today and they did all they could do, but still not right. Its higher on the driver side. They said they would take it to the body shop next.

This is what I am looking for as well. Hope to get things fitting properly, or at least the info on how to do it myself.

You'll be surprised on how they align things you don't want to do it yourself

I agree - they did an amazing job aligning my trunk... It is still in perfect alignment!

But it HURT to watch them do it!

Completely agree with you on this one bud, but try getting a dealer owner to cover the expense for the trip is very difficult I would imagine these days since so much of the tech training now is done online or regionally.

Performance Performance Performance

I'd like to know if GM is planning on releasing any type of performance packages for the Red Line / GXP? They've already got suspension, exhaust and CAI mods available through GMPP, how about some ECU tune / turbo / intercooler packages? Sorry if this falls under the "parts" topic that we're not suppose to talk about, but it's the primary question on my mind.
