The Courtyard in the same complex is the higher end brand, and it has an indoor pool. I know the Fairfield/Courtyard combo complex near my house the pool can be used by people at either hotel... its just more convenient for the courtyard visitors.

The fairfield registration desk guy rattled off a bunch of restaraunts and bars in the area... plenty to do if we have time

(this is a thinly veiled attempt at bringing this thread back on course!)

What happens at Spag's house stays at Spag's house.

I stayed at the Fairfield last year and the rooms are fairly small with outdoor entrances, so party central may not be the best place. It will probably be better to overtake the pool area (if they let us). If Spag's house get to wild and crazy I may have to join you guys, unless he invites some of his cute coworkers over. It's going to be a great weekend.

Well, what is the parking lot like? It is going to be May afterall, and we are a car group. I can almost envision the party never quite making it inside, especially if all the tour guest rooms are grouped in one area of the parking lot so as not to disturb other guests who may be sleeping.

Parking Lot Party!!!! (Remember to bring you folding chair and your Solstice/Sky cooler!)

I guess I could call the hotel and ask. Maybe I will later, if I don't hear from someone on the forum.
thurs and fri are 62.... I think someone called about Sat and got it at $75?

It may fit ya - you would just need to plan ahead and let them know in advance.

Remember that Friday night is Iron Hill though - The people there really treated us incredibly well last year and asked for us to come back. If they end up setting up their banquet room for us, it would suck if everyone took off right away for somewhere else!

Of course, there will be whole a lot of us in the area - we just need to plan everything well in advance since we will be a large group!

You are obviously not an experienced Sky packer. My folding chair has traveled with me in my Solstice to Meets, Runs, the drive-in, etc. Often with a week's worth of clothes and gear. You just gotta know all the little nooks and crannies to put stuff.

...it's been my experience that folding chairs and my 6'1', 240-lb. ass don't get along too well

oooh yes! definately going to Iron hill!!
the Cheesburger paradaise discussion (at least in my mind) is more about the later night... so the Fairfield folks can safely finish out the night in a beverage establishment and then walk 40 feet to thier rooms.

Of course.. if Iron Hill turns into complete crazy insanity, or people follow jayman to his favorite places then who knows what will happen!

That actually could be doable, if people have the energy for it. If we did the run down through Delaware that JustMike is proposing for Saturday, we could then take the ferry from Lewes to Cape May, and hit the drive-in on the way back overland through NJ.

I'd be up for it for sure!!! Kappa night at the Drive-in!
