MECCA II - Thursday Night

BEFORE YOU VOTE IN THE POLL PLEASE READ THIS POST

So we are planning something simple for folks who will be in the area on Thursday night. Nothing major and no run just a simple late dinner opportunity. We are going to meet at Anchor Pontiac 1 Automotive Blvd, Elkton, MD - Google Maps probably around 7 PM or so and then off to one of the local places out by the bay ... Welcome to Nauti-Goose Saloon! is a possibility and we are still researching parking and other options. More details will be posted in this thread as they become available.

So you have lots of time to vote in the poll but I wanted to get it setup now for a headcount. Gonna make it a public poll so everyone can see who is coming.

1) What is driving time & distance to Elkton from the plant/motels where people are staying?
2) What about meeting at plant/motels and a run to Elkton in a parade for the people that are coming from far away, so we keep everyone that wants to go together and NOBODY gets lost?
3) Some body tell Kipp to be there by 4pm so he'll be there on time

Reminder - Everyone must drive the speed limit - or slightly under - in Newport (on 141 and around MECCA).
(Although I was only driving three miles over the limit, knowing it is a speed trap, I was given a ticket for going 25 miles over!)

The plant/hotel is about 20-30 minutes tops to the dealer. The dealer to the Nauti-Goose Saloon is about 20-30 minutes tops. A little early to lock in all the specifics for now but good ideas ...

I plan on being there! If I leave my part of Michigan at 6:00am. I should arrived around 3:00P.M. TO the motel Fairfield. I'll have time to freshen up, and meet up with everyone!!!HOPE there are NO traffic issues

We are jumping off the turnpike near Breezewood for some "scenic" driving into DE ... may take a little longer but who cares when you're driving a roadster!

Don't think we'll make the hotel as early as you

This was me last year...they said check in is 2:00PM...but that was last year...Thursday night we r eating in Maryland...just about 20 minutes from the hotel...then we party.
