The Mecca Reunion Tour
OK so this is not an official offer of any kind. This is not meant to compete with the other threads about potential locations for any other 2008 National type meetings. What this is all about is gauging some interest from both forums about the possibility for "The Mecca Reunion Tour". Probably try to work a day in one of the cooler months like May again since we know first hand there is no AC in the plant we would not want to even think about the summer months.

So sing out if you would attend. Post in the thread if you would be an returning alum or first timer. Would be nice if you would note where you would be traveling from and how long you might want to remain in the area after the tour.

Depending on the date and my schedule, I wouldn't mind doing it again. I'd rather let first timers a crack at it first though. But who knows, I may show up with the intention to just "tailgate".

Funny you should mention "tailgate" I was thinking something along those lines a nice run and then a BBQ somewhere so we could all just hang out. Also with any luck maybe the Blue Rocks would be playing a Friday night game and that could be a pre-tour event

Forgot to ask everyone one more thing ... there is this little track about an hour down the road from the plant called the Monster Mile ... Would that be of interest to anyone?

Best day for me is Saturday. BBQ sounds good.

I live in PA and my brother is 15 minutes from the plant and has probably arrested Pitcom or Spag before for speeding!!!!!
