blueskyys I checked and my garmin's traffic alert is still working so I don't think it will be a problem. I'm going to check a couple altenate exits to 301 though.

So close to the run! So all you folks heading up 95 from the south or near the tri -cities area,Va., trying to get a head count on how many folks to wait up on for the run from Southpark Mall, Colonial Heights, Va.

Ok,
So it sounds like Bogie is bugging out early from Springfield and heading straight up 95 all the way to Wilmington.

The SoVa group is heading up 301? I can meet up with y'all near the 301/50 Jct. Just need a specific location. Here are three suggestions. In no particular order.

NCBlue I believe that all you have to do is head up 95 north to Exit 53 Southpark Blvd. If you take this exit pass the Wal Mart on the right. Continue till the road bares left. At this point you will come to a third traffic light. The mall is straight ahead.If you go pass Exit 53 you will see the Mall to your right off 95.The next exit will be exit 54 Temple Ave. When you come to traffic light off this exit turn right onto Temple Ave. Go under the 95 overpass, Mall is on right. If u have a GPS unit the address is 230 Southpark Circle Colonial Heights, Va. I will try to post a map tomorrow evening if you need more info.

Thanks Va Sky-That helps and I'll google it, too. Unfortunately, no nav system in my Sky (this will be the first "real" out of state road trip she's been on since she came down on the Saturn truck!).

I'm not really either. I've been out rt 50 a bunch of times, just once or twice have I ever have gotten on/off at that exit. Therefore, Let's keep it simple and try them in order. First one there try spot "A". If that don't work, then "B", then "C".

Nc Blue, if you are traveling 95 north and as soon as you reach Petersburg, Va and travel past it(about 1 mile), you can't miss the Mall as its rather large and within a few hundred feet of the interstate on your right. There are 2 exits indicated, so you have 2 chances to get to the mall. There are signs indicating the mall as well.

"A" is the Home Depot parking lot. If you choose that, you don't have to cross southbound 301, meet and then cross back again to head north. Just a tad north of "A" is the Saturn of Bowie dealership. PM me with a time you all are thinking of meeting. I may be able to join you.

Dale how about Saturn of Bowie which from the looks of it is right at the exit on the north bound side. I actually know where the Saturn dealer is because I was up that way last month on a trip to Baltimore. I think Home Depot is a little further down 301 although my addition of MapSource shows it on the South bound side right across from Saturn of Bowie. Plus if we meet there we can make the dealer wond
