Meet on Long Island 05/27/07 - Where are you Sky People??

We had a very week turn out from the Sky community at the Long Island OBI meet this Saturday. I know it was a holiday weekend and everyone had plans already.

We had 6 Solstices and only 2 Sky's, mine and my fathers.

Hopefully next time will be better. There was a ton of really cool unique cars. I would value that parking lot at about 1/4 of a Billion dollars. Between the Ferrari's, Vipers, Ford GT40, Corvettes, Classic Shelby's, one of a kind classics, and drag cars, I do not think that number is even a slight over estimate!

Lots of fun, I wish more of my Sky friends could have joined us.

It was nice to see you come by Reed, wish you could have stayed a bit!

Uh hahhh. We almost came over to your restaurant but it was only 10AM and my dad and I were in the mood for breakfast so we wound up at the nautilis dinner!

Seems a lot of the Sky owners just don't get out very often, I try not to take it personally but just about ready to throw the towel in on ever getting a drive in for a weekend, or even a meeting over dinner. Mother Nature is not helping rain all weekend over the Memorial Holiday here in Tulsa, bummed out Maybe when the sun comes out, but then I am afraid it may get to HOT for a drive, Tulsa can and will get to 100 degrees before summer is over Rain forecasted all weekend again for June 2 -3rd Rain Rain go away

That sucks, I feel ya. We actually have a big meet of about 12 - 15 SKy's and a couple Sols this comming weekend in Connecticut. Come on over you are quite welcome, reallllllly long drive but it will make up for all the garage time!
