Mt. Washington run

I'm heading to Maine (from Va.) around Aug. 4-5. Or should I say, I plan to be there by that weekend. Anyway, still contemplating fly vs Sky. If I Sky it, I'm thinking I'll do Mt Washington run Sunday Aug. 5. Anyone else interested?

Definately a white knuckle drive! And don't forget to brake for the moose or you'll go right under them.

Is this the Mt. Washington with the worlds worst weather (I think I hear 34 degrees this morning with "only" 50mph winds...)

That's the place. Holds the record for recorded surface wind of 231 mph!
They have to chain down the buildings. Current Temps: Base 55, Summit 37.
