Rick, you aren't the only one. I had toured the Spring Hill plant many times as an employee of a retailer but sounds like you really got the red carpet treatment. I too am green with envy and hope this can be an annual event.

Sorry so late with my thank-yous, but be kinda busy with alot of things here. First, I'll like to say-- I had a GREAT TIME I've been a auto krazed person for over 30 years and never been to an assembly plant. I could not sleep that night so I got on the road and what do you know, I was the first one there! There are so many memories from that day that I don't have the time, nor the space to express them all. Secondly, I have great gratitude for all that were involved in putting our special day together, you all know who you are. Thirdly, I'll like to say thanks to the employees of the UAW for greeting us in the fashion they did. They have made me very happy as well as other members of this forum. Keep building those KAPPA products and we'll keep buying them. Gotta go now, but again thank-you, thank-you and did I forget to say thank-you

Showgal and I are still on our post-Plant Tour vacation, we won't be back home until after this weekend.

We had a great time (and still are). Look for a full report with a rediculous amount of photos when I get back.

Thanks to those who organized the trip and to the Plant's staff that made us feeel very welcome while there. Did anyone else notice the many internal postings throughout the plant announcing our arrival to the employees? Very cool.
