Will do a little commentary post later tonight.... No cameras inside, so will try to "paint the visual picture" of the great job Saturn and the Plant did in welcoming us, and making it a great day.

Hey everyone. Today was awesome!!! I even won the silver sky model when they called my badge number!!! Can anyone tell me about what this model is made out of and how many there are? Cant wait till i get my RL!!! Hada great time with everyone!!

I also loved today... winning the SKY RL fender clock was well worth the trip even though I was too late for the tour.

Some pics from the weekend:

Buckley's Tavern- this place, though lovely on my last visit, screwed us over on Friday night. If you're in the area, don't bother.

We ended up having a great time at Iron Hill brewery instead. If you're in the area, bother. A note for you know who: end of the evening, tiny glasses, not empty.

i already know what our cars look like.. and what the outside of the plant looks like.. was there no pics of the inside of the place?? no one sneaked a cam in? or was it a tour of the parking lot??

Don't know if anyone managed to sneak a camera in and take pictures. I would really hope not, and if someone did I would hope they'd at least refrain from sharing them with anyone. Car companies tend to react very poorly to unauthorized pics from inside their plants. The people at the plant seemed to enjoy the day almost as much as we did, and I'd like the powers that be to remain open to doing something like it again sometime in the future- both for our enjoyment and the morale boost it seemed to give everyone we met today.

I'd be really disappointed to see any one person jeopardize all the good will that made the tour possible and got so much stronger today by posting a seemingly innocuous pic of a smiling welder.

There was a guy in a Saturn polo shirt shooting video most of the day (though I didn't see him near any production areas) with some serious looking equipment. I never asked what they planned to do with the footage, but maybe it'll turn into something really slick that we'll be able to see one day.
