Hi guys, on the above date the So. Jersey Region of SCCA is holding an autocross event at the Blackwood campus of Camden Community College, talked w/ a member last night- they would love to have us. We can either race against everybody or they would create a class just for us where we would only race against ourselves. cost is $40.00 for non-members(SCCA), need Snell 2000 helmet, but they have loaners-would love to see MASSC out in force for this.
Anybody interested?
The guy I talked w/ said it's a full day and you get between 5-7 runs.

that's a no go for me. can't switch off work. I do think there are some sunday events around here as well. I'll post up about them when i find out. Sundays are just better for me.

I believe there is a group that auto crosses up at Giants Stadium on weekends. One of the guys in my office goes there.

If anyone is interested in it, I am sure I can find out the name of the organization that runs it.

I ran once before with my friend's BMW autox guys, they were at PNC Arts Center. I'll ask him about future events.

OK SO this is the 1st time I've ever done something like this; I was 3rd in my class(A stock), (third of 3=last place); BUT out of 47 competitors I was 45th I'm ok with that - I had fun sweated my shorts wet (98-101'F, and hi humidity).

it's hard the first time out. Next time they have an event up here, I'll let you know, and we should both go. I'll let you ride with me, and I'll ride with you. And be prepared.......this crap is addicting

EDIT: actually, just looked it up. Next autocross event at Raceway Park is Aug. 18th, and I'm off that day!!! So yeah, if you wanna go, just let me know
