Sky Rally - Sept 9th, Bangor, Maine to Bar Harbor

The local Saturn Dealer in Bangor is hosting a Sky Rally Saturday Sept 8th (rain date Sept 15th). All Sky owners are invited to attend. We will meet from 9 AM to 12 PM. There will be refreshments and Sky Owner gift bags for attendees, followed by an informal road trip to the Bar Harbor area.

We had a great Rally in Maine this past weekend. There were approximately 14 Skys that participated. Our local dealer was an excellent host that provided a true "customer appreciation" event. It was solely for the enjoyment of Sky owners. It was a great chance to meet other owners and share our passion for our cars, compare notes and check out each others modifications. When we met in the morning, it threatened to rain with a light passing shower that caused us to raise the tops. However, it cleared off and warmed up into the mid 80's. We began our ride a little early as we all wanted to enjoy the day. We visited the new Penobscot Narrows suspension bridge and continued on to Mount Desert Island. We pulled in to Acadia National park and climbed Cadillac Mountain, a great twisty road for the Sky train.
After a walk on the mountain top and many a parking lot conversations with interested bystanders, we drove down the mountain into Bar Harbor to visit the pier. It was beautiful day, that many of us hope will become an annual event.
