Smithville GM Show - June 3rd

http://www.boardwalkcorvettes.com/spfl.html

Just tossing this idea out there.... saw it posted on a car show site

Corvette club... but this event was turned into a Chevy event... and then a GM event.

So there are 100s of car shows in the area, why mention this one?.... whats unique about this one is its in historic Smithville NJ. A quaint village of shops and restaraunts. Nice to walk around (although its been a while since I was there)
http://www.smithvillenj.com/

Ahnuld wont be there... will be at Dover (Nascar).. just suggesting for others.

I'm not sure I'll enter, sometimes you can't leave this things, until the event is over, and I might have to leave early in the afternoon for work. Also I won't be getting to sleep until about 4 am Sunday morning, so waking up early might be a small problem. The good news is Margate to Smithville is only about 15 miles, so I should be able to get their before 10 am-

Maybe??

Maybe I'll take a drive Sunday and stop by Smithville. Only a hop, skip and jump from Toms River, Nj. See if the wife wants to take a ride with me.

Was in Phily yesterday for King Tut's exhibit. It was very nice. Can't believe they could carve so well 4000 years ago.

I hear ya!!! Even if I am there.. I am not entering. You are correct, usually need to be an hour before (9am) and stay till the end (3pm). At least there are some things to see and do in Smithville, unlike a show at a school... but thats still too big of a commitment for me!

I stopped at a show at a high School about 6 weeks ago.. was a perfect day... one of the first really warm weekends and it was jammed. I parked my car in the street just 15 feet away from the lots where the car show folks parked... was cool to see people walking over to my sky in the street to check it out! I stayed for 90 mins and skiddaddled out of there.
