I'll be sending my reservation form in this weekend for the Sunday show.

"T' are you planning on staying over for the weekend or just going up for Sunday?

It's a four hour trip from our place so add another hour from yours, there is a Red Roof Inn only 6 miles away from Otsiningo Park, near restaurants and a mall with parking right outside rooms only $74.99 + taxes/night and recently renovated.

I will work with Matthew's to do a separate class this year... on top of the Special Interest. So we will all register in Special Interest for this year. Next year, there will be a Kappa Class.

Almost any hotel in Broome County is an easy drive to Otsiningo Park. Red Roof is a good choice. I know Bob was happy with the hotel he was at last year on Upper Front St... was it the Comfort Inn???

Restaurants in the immediate area of the Red Roof in are a brand new Ground Round, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Ruby Tuesday, 2 Friendly's, 2 McDonald's, Quizno's and others... including my favorite place for subs... Wegman's Supermarket.

While Sunday is the car show day... here are some other events going on through out the weekend.

Friday at 7pm: Country music with The Lost Trailers.... then Jason Michael Carroll

Saturday at 2pm: Mitchell Musso from Radio Disney
Saturday at 6pm: Pop music with American Idol Ace Young... Followed by Vanessa Carlton

Sunday at 6pm: Classic rock with Blue Oyster Cult and The Marshall Tucker Band

One of these days you will have to venture to the real upstate...

The ride isn't really that bad though... I was just down to Elmont, LI on Saturday for a car show. 190 miles... left at 5:30am... was there at about 8:15. Cruising at 75 mph. Just under 3 hours. My time to Staten Island averages 2.5 hours...
