Warmth... It was fun while it lasted!!

I absolutely enjoyed the warm weather we had in Philly the last few days. Was cruising around after work and last night, and the temperature topped out at 77!!!

At 10pm it was still 69 degrees!!

So I thought... awesome, spring is finally here!
Then I check the forecast, and the temp is going down the tubes again... with freezing rain and possibly snow tommorrow and into St Patrick's day.
We wont see 60 again untill the following weekend.

Man.. I know the 65 degree days are right around the corner, but this is killing me!!!

Here in Cleveland, it was 71 yesterday. I was out working in the yard last night.

About 7:30, it started to rain, then pour. It rained heavily all night, but it was still warm - in the 60s.

This morning, its 31 and we have snow, ice and sleet.

Its like going to sleep and waking up somewhere else.

An inch of fresh snow greated the Detroit community this mornng..... After being 74 degrees on Tuesday.....

The good thing was that the streets were still warm enough to melt the snow so it just "stuck" to the lawns and other non-driving surfaces.....

Chicagoland fared a BIT better. Rained like crazy last night. We had traces of a frozen mix of snow/sleet on cars this morning - already melted (8am now). At this time it is 38 degrees and we should see 44...
Starting Monday we begin to warm up again but untill then lower than normal temps. Normal is 45 here

HoldHard, we got a dusting here in Clarkston, but the roads are dry already. My SKY is at the dealer.

There is a guide wire on the passenger side of the top that was binding, and not pulling the side down behind the window. They overnighted the new wire, and are installing it today. They also re-aligned the front bumper, as it was not meeting the hood properly at the sides. Saturn of Clarkston has ALWAYS had good service, and they certainly treat my SKY as if were royalty.

It doesn't hurt that I has a 10 minute conversation with the President of the dealership when I pullled in yesterday, and he was floored when the hood was opened, and asked all kinds of questions. They even made sure it was kept inside all night to keep it clean and safe.

I am ready for the nice weather to return now!

Making my first road trip in my RL this weekend to the eastern shore, via B'more. Was hoping that I'd have it all clean and shinny for the trip. And that the weather would be half-way decent. Now it supposed to rain most of this evening, all day tomorrow, and only hit about 40 degrees all weekend.

Oh well. But as they say at The Starboard, "When it rains, we pour!"

Yep - we went from 70 yday to 39 today. Boyfriend called about 6 last nite and asked where I was - said weather station had issued a severe storm/hail warning. OK yeah - you just want me to leave the girls nite out & come home. 5 min later I get another call from a friend asking where my car is because she has golf ball size hail at her house - 7 miles away. I make a mad dash/drive for the safety of the boyfriend's car port & hit the storm at the "one mile to exit" sign. Arghhh! I could hear it pinging off the top mostly - sounded horrible. Think I missed the worst part of it tho. Couldn't see any damage last nite - but need to look again w/ better light. Driving the Jeep today!!

It was lower 90's earlier this week and has cooled down to mid 80's. Unusual heat wave for March in SoCal.

My son is down there this weekend, he called me when he landed yesterday. I am so jealous. I told him to watch for Skys, he should see plenty of them. He says "Mom, there is only one sky" - like I'm an idiot. I guess you either have the fever or you don't.
