Wildwood NJ, May 10-13 - 15th Annual East Coast Boardwalk National Car Show

I realize this conflicts with the Lighthouse run... but its a big car show event for the area, and just wanted to share the info. Some were suggesting in the Lighthouse thread stopping in Wildwood anyway, so maybe the two can be combined?

Wildwood NJ has two big car shows..
Early and late season. They do this... well one is to draw people when its less crowded, but two.... they let the cars drive up on the Boardwalk!

The May show is open to all cars. (Sept is classics only)

The Wildwood Boardwalk is HUGE! I am checking my schedule to see if I can get down there...

Event Schedule:
Thursday: Kick Off Party 9-11 pm Wildwood Convention Center, food, games, Entertainment and a special kick off party gift for participants.
Friday: 6 pm Poker Run, win lots of prizes and see the island at the same time.
Saturday: Block Party; Bikini Contest; Top 40 cars will be on display; “Best of Show” will be chosen; “Top Gun” winners will be chosen and awarded by the Wildwood Police Department; North Wildwood Police Department; and Wildwood Crest Police Departments.
Sunday: 9 am Top 40 winners will line up in the horseshoe in front of the Wildwood Convention Center. Awards Ceremony and Cash Prizes.

(How can something be billed as "The East Coast...National.."

Looks like I may have to back out of the lighthouse cruise, but I see no reason why the two can't be combined.

I was planning on entering my SKY and sitting on the boardwalk doing a little girl watching , but I have a Phillies game with my son @ 4:00 pm. If I can talk him into not going to the game (because we also have tickets for the 19, a night game ), I be their.

Yes, we are planning on making the car show in Wildwood our final stop on the Lighthouse tour on May 12th. I am doing a pre-run this saturday of the lighthouse tour, and will hopefully post some more details on the exact route and timing of the event sometime next week.

I might possibly attend. I've been waiting for a local car show to enter my Redline. I was kinda torn since Raceway Park is having a GM shootout on their 1/4 mile drag on the 12th.

Ugh....decisions.....

Well, it looks like I'll be SA from work for that weekend. And for all good causes, too.
