2007 Cruisin' the Coast Sept. 30-Oct. 7

Calling all Sky owners in the Gulf Coast Region, a group of us that were at the P'cola meet this weekend have talked about meeting somewhere in Gulfport/Biloxi area on Saturday, Oct. 6. This is the next to last day of CTC.
We had a great turnout Sat. the 15th in P'cola. Had seven cars, each a different color, including one SWEET chili pepper red, supercharged Sky. Thanks Seal9. I think we can make this thing work with some more interest from Sky owners in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Let me know if you are interested. Mike

I will let everyone know on Monday, the 1st, where we will meet. Most likely it will be around US 49 and I-10. This will be easier than trying to meet on the coast. Let me know what you think.

Well I talked to my Wife and she was expecting me in Minnesota that weekend but since I wouldn't get up home until like 11:00 PM Friday anyway and the cruise is on I asked her if she would mind me not coming up tell Sunday. So as long as I get my reservation early, like tonight. hahah I said I would see her Sunday and she said that was fine.
What I am trying to say is I'll be there but need to go home sometime that day because I leave at 6:10 AM the next day. So Mike keep me posted and I'll see you all there. Make sure some of you bring your video cameras.

We can set up a time to meet if y'all want. The earlier, the better. We could plan on meeting for breakfast somewhere. Maybe Cracker Barrel. I am thinking somewhere south of I-10 on hwy 49. I will be there tomorrow and Saturnday and find a good open spot on the west side of 49. I will let everyone know Sunday or Monday. Mike

I am back from the coast and found out a few things. Ocean Springs is probably the best place to meet on Saturday, the 6th. Seems like everything is happening there that day. I found a tentative meeting place off of I-10. It is at the Ocean Springs Days Inn on Rt. 609. Here are the directions. I-10 East or West to exit 50; take Rte 609 South (Washington Avenue); hotel is 1/4 mile on the right, toward the beach. This is about the best thing I could find south of I-10. Let me know what you think. Mike

Let's make it 9:30. I am about 1 1/2 hours from the coast. If we meet at the Days Inn, we are only about 20 minutes from the coast. We can hang around until 10:00. If you need a list of P'cola people, just PM me and I will send it to you. It has everyones cells and e-mails. Mike

I be coming out of Tillman's Corner (West Mobile) onto I-10. I'd love to caravan with ya'll. I am on the list that Mike emailed out to all of us. Second entrance onto I-10 is an easy entrance to sit and wait if I've got a good time frame. Claire

SKYMRK and GARYH, I will be on the I-10 side of the Walmart parking lot at the first Tillman's Corner (Exit 17B) at 8:30 am. I'll get there early (I was late to my own wedding).

Question: Anyone know the owner of another white sky or maybe a white Sol in Mobile? Saw it yesterday evening in Mobile around 7:00pm. We were a pretty good distance away at dusk so we weren't sure. Definately know it was one or the other. Wish we could get our hands on the registration information for our selective counties so we could find the owners who aren't finding us.

Excited about the meet.
