3rd Annual North Georgia Fun Run (3/22)

Ok Folks it that time again. Announcing the 3rd Annual North Georgia Fun Run AKA Shine Run.

This year we are going to mix things up a bit. We will be joining another club and be doing their route. This worked well for us the first year when we did the route that the Mini Cooper Club did. Last year not so good with the S2K Club. This year we will be hosted by the Georgia Fiero Club. These guys are really excited to be having us join them.

When: Saturday, March 22
Where: We will meet at the McDonald's in Dawsonville at the intersection of Hwys Ga 400 and Ga 53
Route: We will travel from there to Athens, Tn. where we will be stopping for lunch.

More details and maps will be posted as time draws near. So mark your calendars and get ready for the twisties.

Awesome to have everyone on board for this. Although the Fiero club is hosting it I believe as of right now we have more attending then they do.

UPDATE: 3/7

We will meet at the McDonald's on Hwy 400 at Hwy 53, in Dawsonville, Ga. at 8AM. We will hold a brief drivers' meeting around 8:30 to go over the route and point out danger areas. We should all be fully loaded with fuel before the meeting, and pull out by 9AM.

I will post maps later. Hopefully this weekend. Squirrel Boy is working on a simplified map.

UPDATE 3/15:

We will be meeting at the McDonald's in Dawsonville, at the Intersection of Georgia Highways 400 and 53. We should arrive by 8AM, hold our drivers' meeting, and depart by 9AM.

I have maps available and will send them in an e-mail. If you are not on the Ga. Kappa Club e-mail list and would like an advance copy PM me your e-mail addy and I'll be glad to send you one. Otherwise I will have plenty of copies with me to pass around.

Now all the 3 Kimberly's will have to do is behave themselves Friday night and not get tooooooo intoxicated, Mind you, I do plan to have FUN and with the 3 naughty K's we should get into lots of stuff!!!!!!!!! BUT I will be up and ready when YA say Captain!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like I will miss the run. I broke my right leg in two places a couple of weeks ago. DANG IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
