Anyone want to go driving with me in Lexington KY ?

As part of the planning for the August Southeastern Meet, I am doing an exploration drive this Saturday, May 10th. I'll be leaving the Holiday Inn North (Lexington) at around 10 AM, driving through Fayette County, and visiting Talon and Chrisman Mill wineries. Depending on how the timing works, there are a couple of others that I may visit as well.

This is not a formal run, and there is a 30% chance of thunderstorms, but I am going to be making the drive, and anyone who wants to join me is welcome.

Post here, or be at the Holiday Inn by 10 if you are interested.

The weather is looking better for tomorrow, only 20% chance of rain after 10AM, with temperatures in the 60s.

Hey John, would LOVE to go driving, but had surgery on my ankle 3 weeks ago, and then had complications with blood clots in my lungs. I likely won't be driving any car for at least another month, and won't be in the Sol for 8 more weeks, at least.

I WILL drive with you before the summer is over, I hope!

Take care and I hope you get better soon, so you can enjoy your roadster as much as we all do. Take care. T.

Take care of yourself and get well.

Eight weeks should give you time to be ready for the Regional Meet in August. Kim told me today that we have 45 cars committed with registrations paid.

The drive today was great. The rain stopped just before we started, and we did 150 miles of wine country touring. We now have two runs planned and ready to go.

I plan on being at the regional meet, but don't want to count my chickens before they hatch.
