Car show in Gonzales, La

I just found out that the monthly car show at the Tanger Outlet Center has started. The next show is on 6/21 from 5-9 PM. There is no judging, just a lot of cool cars parked in a parking lot. There used to be live music or a DJ, but I haven't been to it in several years. Here is the info from the website:

Classic Cruise Car Show
03/15/08 to 10/18/08 Join in the fun and remember the good old days when cruisin' was the thing to do those hot summer nights. A Classic Cruise Car Show is held every third Saturday of the month from 5pm - 9pm (March - October) in the parking lot between Suite 159 and Cracker Barrel.

If anyone else wants to come, let me know and maybe we can get a adjoining parking spaces.

Can't make it this month. My plate is just too full. I have kinfolk in Baton Rouge so I would like to make it maybe next month. If you plan on going next month, post again or PM me so I don't forget.

Gonzales.... Man now that brings back memories. The last time I was there was about 1968 for a pop festival. Stayed out in the field for 2 days and was digging all the great rock n roll and other activities. Well, just throwing in my 2 cents worth. No hijack intended.
