Kentucky Speedway Drive the Track

Make sure you change your car’s oil and air filter, even think about throwing in a tune-up by April 19 so you’ll be ready for our first Drive the Track Sale of the season. The sale begins at 9:00 a.m., and ends at 4:00 p.m. Simply spend $40 in our Fan Center gift shop on Kentucky Speedway event tickets, merchandise or your favorite driver gear and you’ll receive a pass that allows you to turn laps on our 1.5-mile tri-oval track – at a reasonable speed, of course! The Fan Center is located off of Interstate 71 Exit 57 and Ky. Hwy. 35 N. Turn left off the exit if you’re traveling north and right off the exit if you’re traveling south. Your car, our track, what could be a better combination? See you April 19!

Ok.... Who is up for this.... Last time I got up to 120 mph..... I will be taking the GXP and the husband will be taking the Cobra..... Lets get a few people to get together maybe do the Track and eat at Elk Creek Winery...... What do ya say.....

This is during one of my husband's 4 day weekends, so it sounds like a real possibility. How many people are on the track at one time? How many laps do you get?

when they took the Corvette's out last time there was like 8-10 with 2 pace cars. When I went it was a Mustang, a Super Bee and I was last... We were the only ones on the track at that time and I got up to 120mph. The speed you get is determined by the pace car you get.... For every $40.00 you spend you get a min of 3 laps. If you have a group they will let the group go together with photo time afterwards.....
When husband took his Cobra we did the $40.00 and he was the only one on the track and he did 6 laps. So it all depends. If there is enough interest I will check on Hotels and also we will be doing a couple of runs.... 1 after the track and 1 on Sunday......

I have a total of 11 Cars signed up for this and JRinKY is looking at mapping us a couple of runs on Sat after the track and possible on Sun depending on interest. The rest we will play by ear..... Hope to see more Skys sign up... Right now out of 11 there is 3.....
