We will be holding a "tuning day" for all that are interested with GM Roadster on Saturday, February 28th. This is a new thread, carved off of what once was the Florida All State Meet / Joint and Florida State Meet List, February 28, March 1, Orlando. It seems that the people from Honda have decided on another weekend to hold their meet, so at this time we are holding this on our own. I have Kimberly Sky finding our hotel and hafizmo setting up a dyno shop for our use. I will be working closely with GM Roadster to make this happen for everyone that wants the tune to be able to get it. Also, everyone needs to remember that GMR is capable of tuning the '06 & '07 2.4 N/A as well as all years of the 2.0 RL/GXP. Tuning for the 2.4 is $250, for the 2.O Turbo is $300. Anyone that would like a spare ECM, please contact Martin Scott at GM Roadster, as he would like to ship them in advance.
As far as other activities, we can plan whatever others would like to try and do, such as a Sunday morning run, if wanted. Luvn Sol has already found a place for the Saturday evening dinner and we are coordinating all other aspects. If anyone has other thoughts and suggestions please contact myself or Kimberly Sky as to what your thoughts are.
If you are interested in the tune please contact me so that I can add your name to the list for Martin and Steve.
I am set for 4 ... request consideration with scheduling.
a. GMRoadster tune
b. GMRoadster "HID" lower beams
c. JPM 'Diamond Stitch Center Console'
d. JPM 'seat belt loop'

If you suddenly feel warm, it is just me passing through grinning!
I'm moving over the list of people from the other threads as well. I'm going to put an asterisk by each that has asked for the GMR tune, please correct me if wrong, or notify me if you are left off the list and want the tune also. Remember, if asking for a spare ECM, please contact Martin at GMR prior to the meet.

Here is the information on a location you might want to look into to hold the meet. Route 46 Entertainment District, 4316 W SR 46, Sanford, FL 32771 407-268-4646. You can look them up on the internet and they have some pictures and a discription of the place.
Just talked to Joe up at JPM Coachworks. He would like to have 30 cars prior to committing to actually coming to the meet. He figures that this will make sure that he makes his expenses for the time he is away from his shop. As of now we have 22 cars, 3 of which are maybe. So we need to confirm those and also add another 8 cars to insure that Joe will come.
This, of course doesn't mean that you are committing to having work done, or that you are staying at the hotel, or getting a tune, just means that you'll show up for the day. Joe says he will put up a sale for the meet and base his attendance on number of cars and potential sales.

Well this is where I stand with the tune. I'm purchasing the GM tune and getting it installed hopefully this Saturday. I'm guessing that my cost will come out to 562 + whatever the dealer charges. So close to 750? I REALLY want to get it tweaked by GMR, but only if the cost is reasonable. I don't want to break the bank trying to get a few extra ponies out.
