Count on 2 more....................

I just talked to Carmen, and both of us are looking forward to joining this run. So, count on 2 more turbos to smoke the roads. Can't make the Fri dinner, but we'll be there bright and early in the morning.

Unbelievable Fun !!!!!!!!

For those of you who missed it, the FUN RUN hosted by KYGXP (Kim), and led by JRINKY (John), was a BLAST !!!!!!

Lots of twisties. Lots of speed. Lots of great people. Only 1 breakdown (Carmen's Solstice - ran well after a rest. Hopefully, it's nothing serious), and a spectacular "wiggle" by Druid2 (Mike) that I had the pleasure of witnessing in my rearview mirror. Apparently those 06 solstices don't have traction control.

I understand that there will be at least one more practice run before the Aug "real" run. I would highly recommend it.

And apparently there is more info and pictures on the Solstice side. Perhaps, more info and pix will be posted on the Sky forum. What do you think, Kim?

For you SKYs not on the solstice forum.

What a great run, I had a great time and can't wait to come back, you can definitely count me in.

Thanks to all for the help when my car decided to take a little break from the run. It made a stressfull situation much more bearable. It's going in the shop on Wednesday, I'll let you know the diagnosis.

Druid2 thanks for the ride, I enjoyed being your passenger for a short time.

Jnags thanks for offering to get me home if needed, thats going above and beyond for a friend, luckily I didn't need it, don't want to make the new girlfriend jealous of the old.

jnag and carmen, glad you came down for the run, and glad you enjoyed it, mostly at least. I'm anxious to find out that your car is OK Carmen.

Car news

For you SKY owners:

Got my car back Wednesday and thought all was well. They said that it was calibrated wrong and that there was an updated software to fix the problem, applied and recalibrated it. It did run better on the way home. Unfortunatley today the same thing happened again, engine light is on and it is running rough, hesitating while driving so it's going back next week. Hope they get it right this time.

Again thanks for everyones help.
