Georgia Cars and Coffee

Hello All:

We are hosting along with the Georgia Fiero Club - 'Cars And Coffee' - at Lanier Technical College Campus the third Saturday morning in June, July and August.

Dates are as follows:

June 21st
July 19th
August 16th

Rain date will be the next day on Sunday for each event. A copy of the flyer is included.

We need your help in distributing the flyers and also day of show volunteers. If you are able to distribute flyers please let me know and we will get copies to you. Also if you are interested in working the day of the show please use the link below to take you to a sign up form online. Each club member that signs up to help will receive a 'Cars And Coffee' T-Shirt to wear the day of the event.

There is room in the Lanier Technical College Parking lot up front at the gate for 30 cars. The Georgia Fiero Club and Peach State Kappa Club members cars will be parked there as the hosting club.

There are an additional 200 spaces alongside the main campus building where we will be parking show cars. There will be show awards and prizes too. The event is for the benefit of The Acoustic Neuroma Association. ( Brain Tumor )

Now that our Savannah trip is over I hope everyone is getting geared up for our next event. I am really excited about Cars and Coffee and hope that we will have lots of Solstice and Sky owners volunteer to help make this a success. This will be a judged car show but since we are hosting the event we will not be entering ours into the contest. Instead we will be working the event. We need people who can help out with the check in station and parking. Each participant will be getting a free t-shirt with event staff on the back. We also need help in passing out the flyers. If you can do any of these things your help will be greatly appreciated.

Also since this is so early in the morning I was thinking about adding a short cruise to Helen for lunch afterwards.

If you can help with flyers let me know and I can send you some.

Please make sure to register here so that we can send you crew t-shirts. Both of you will need to register in order to get a t-shirt each. Of course admission is free to crew members and we have special parking reserved for us.

I hate to sound like I'm begging but we really need more help with this. Mostly what we will need are parking attendents. People to be in the parking lot waving cars to designated parking areas.

Hey thanks Kurt!! We will be set up at the registration booth at the front. I will be there with my Silver 08 (no stripes), GA_SolMan also has a Silver (with stripes) and you know Terry and Cindi with their Red Sky. It starts at 7am, if you could arrive anytime before 7am that would be great.
