With the unofficial end of summer past and cooler, shorter days ahead it seems like a good time for another Kappaccino cruise. This months Kappaccino will fall on September 29th.
Since our Winery tour was well received last year we're going to do it again. This time we will visit
Duplin Winery.
We'll meet at the usual time and place
Barry's Cafe at 9:00am.
We'll have a bite to eat and then cruise to the Winery which has tours, wine tasting and a bistro. Finally we can cruise back to Cary.
Here is a map of the tentative route:
Route Map. We'll avoid the highway and take the scenic route. I have only driven parts of this route so far and it has some nice views and some sweeping curves.
This will be a day trip, between driving and stops all told we'll be in the neighborhood of 6 - 7 hours round trip.
Notice in the subject like that I capped everything except the "cheers". I know that everyone will be responsible in the wine tasting and/or have a designated driver and designated taster!
