Anyway, just wanted to reming you or our April 2009 meet here, "Kappa Heads at the Beach" Hope your club will join us.

Hey Joe....We did have fun last year, didn't we. Everytime I look at the pictures with the girls and Santa, I crack up. Sorry ya'll can't make it back this year.

While in Key West, one of the topics we will be discussing for the future, will be next April's "Kappa Heads to the Beach". That will be one party that, I'm sure, most will not want to miss. Keep me informed, and I will pass the info on to other clubs down here. Thanks.

This is for anyone thinking about going to Key West in Oct, but doesnt like the price at the Crowne Plaza. It is a bit pricey, for sure.

Today I received an email from Spirit Airlines, and they are having a bunch of specials. One of them is at The Southernmost Hotel, on Duvall Street. Here's the deal. Normally the rooms there are $159.00 a night, but with this special, and a 3 night stay, the first 2 rooms are only $100 per night, and the third is just a buck. That's right, ONE DOLLAR!! Now I know we are only going to be in Key West for 2 nights, but who cares. Book for 3, then check out Monday morning. I'm sure they would love to rebook that room at $159 for Monday night.

Now here's how you get this rate. Call the hotel direct, 305-296-6577 or 800-354-4455, and ask for the "Spirit Dollar Special".

One thing you do need to know. Even though this hotel is on Duvall Street, it's on the southern most end. Most of the fun, and all of the bars, are on the northern end.

Just purchased my 08 Carbon Flash Redline thursday... and have now lived in Florida a year without going down to the keys... This should be a fun time.

OK, we booked this morning.

Went with the La Concha after-all. With my left-over points from last year, we got a great deal!

Now all we have to do is figure out how to afford the Gas, food and booze!

That would be a bit too soon after my surgery.... it is the 9th... a hysterctomy... and the doc said it will take a minimum of 2-3 weeks to feel normal.. I am hoping I will still make the Key West run.... gosh I hope so. SkyBaby
