Sat Oct 6th 2007

10:00 am ChiliSky and Myself leaving Frankfort for Lexington

9:00 am JRinKY meeting folks from the North at Dry Ridge to drive the twisties on 227 down to Lexington ( Please pm JRinKY about details on this part)

11:00 am Meeting at the Holiday Inn North at 1950 NEWTOWN PIKE LEXINGTON, KY 40511

11:15 am pulling out driving down 68 to Shaker Village

Shaker Village allowing about 1/2 hr or less, continuing onto Wild Turkey Distillery ( taking tour ) continuing on to Lovers Leap Winery allowing about 1/2 hr visit, continuing to Labert & Graham allowing about 1/2 hr visit, then back to the hotel by way of the Castle.

Remember this is the First Planning Pre-Run and there might be changes that need to be done. Everyone please remember your radio's.

The Ohio Valley Kappa Club ( http://www.ohiovalleykappas.com/ ) will be meeting at the Speedway located at the Dry Ridge exit of I75, at 9:00 for a 9:30 departure to the Holiday Inn. Turn right (West) at the top of the Southbound ramp, or left (still West) at the top of the Northbound ramp. There is a sign-up on the website, click the "Events" tab. There is no actual deadline for sign-up, and you do not have to be signed up to join the drive. The drive route is KY22 to KY227 for some serious twisties, then to Iron Works Pike for some very nice scenery, arriving at the Holiday Inn at around 11:00.

Please either sign up on the web site, or post here, or both, if you plan to join us.

I will be leaving Frankfort at 8:00, if anyone in the area wants to do KY227 twice. Post here if you want to join me for the northbound run, so we can set a meeting place.

I am planning to divide the KY227 drive into two groups, maybe three. The hot shoes will leave first, the non-speed-demons will follow. We will rejoin in Stamping Ground for the cruise to Lexington.

As of today.. I plan on going.. I will have to come down the night before... cuz it is a 7 hour drive and I will need to rest after driving that far. anyone got a cot? .... or maybe what the number is to the hotel? and... Only one person. ME... SkyBaby

Teri I have a hotel room, you can stay with me. I will make sure we have two beds. I have it for Friday (6hr drive for me) and also for Saturday because I will be to tired to drive another 6hrs. We are just around the corner from Kim and will head to Lexington togeather. The hotel room is in Frankfort KY

We could have THREE people in a room and split the bill THREE ways.

Only two problems......................

1. I don't know you people and, being the stud-muffin that I am, I would fear for my safety.

2. There's only two beds.

OK.................... so #2 really isn't a problem, if you're both women. BUT #1 is !!!!!

BTW................. Teri, I hope that you make it. I am looking forward to meeting the famous Skybaby and her trunkful of PINK trinkets.
