Labor Day - Matthews NC Parade

Checking in for Labor Day weekend parade on Saturday, August 30th! Who's in? Looking also for SKY owners who want to spend time in the display talking to visitors about your SKY ownership experience on any of the four days the festival runs. Please let me know and please share with other SKY owners. Thanks!

I want to go, but I can't. Dam.... I love NC. I just recieved some info about NC. I am planning to move there. Take lots of pictures, sounds like a great 4 days.

Nooooo.... T that's too close to me for comfort.... You know Yankee's have to get permission to move down South... Well with you down this way it would never be boring!

If Matthews wasn't such a long drive I'd love to do it. But I still may consider it.

put me down for the parade and to help 'sell the Sky'. Got mine a year ago and love it more every day.
we had a blast last year - my 5 year old granddaughter loved it.

I found out that there is a car show, not the same day as the parade (Saturday), but on Monday- Labor Day in Matthews. Any interest in both parade and car show - if you are going to register as a club, time is getting tight.
Secondly, I have a request from "Ms Petite NC", who was told about the 23 SKY's in the parade last year: She is looking for SKY to ride in during the parade (this would be separate from the group). If I remember correctly, everyone had a passenger... but wanted to put the request out. I am very low on inventory and do not wish to over promise and under deliver by not having a SKY in stock.
Finally, exploring options for lunch after the parade near the festival. Will update again soon.

Whitney, as always, you know that you can count on both of us to be in attendance, and to lend a hand as always. We have truly enjoyed being a part of all that you have put together for us at past event.

You have my email, so drop myself or Sky4her a note, and we will be happy to lend a hand with setup, or etc. Just tell us where, time, and etc. and we''ll try to make it even more great than last year

29 days - yikes! sneaking up fast....
I received a request from the town - for 12 SKY's available to carry the politicians in the parade. I have explained that last year, everyone had a passenger, and that attendance may be lower this year due to high fuel costs.
I do not and will not have 12 SKYs in inventory.... so that's not an option.

We have a lot of new SKY owners that will hopefully want to get involved, letters go out next week to tell them about the parade.

I would rather a flea infested yack smelling stray mutt that just got sprayed by a skunk in my sky before a dirty politician sat in her!

without any dissenting opinions in 2 days, I will politely let the organizer know that the answer is not just 'no', but "h3ll no!" on the politicians.....

We are still on for the Saturn SKY entry in parade and anyone who wants to spend time talking to display visitors on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

As of right now.... I will be there.

I wanted to go last year, but was my weekend on at work. I will be sans passenger, so Ms Petite NC is welcome to ride along... and if petite enough can ride between the humps.

Do you know if the dealership would want customer cars in their booth along with the owners??? Like at the event just held here...
