Mini Run-Day Before for the KEY WEST RUN!

Hey all Florida, Georgia & Southern Sky/Sol's
thought I would go ahead and try to make this a sticky so it's not missing in the middle of the threads since it's basically it's own mini run!

PRE-KEY WEST RUN INFO!

WHEN: Friday December 14, 2007
TIME: Mid-Late Afternoon
WHERE: South Orlando-Metro West, Universal, Kirkman Area
WHY: To drive as a group down to MIAMI the day before the big run to save 5+ hours of driving on Saturday to go to the KW run.

DETAILS:

This is not to take away from the big fun KW run but to help us all have a little more fun! The plan is those of us in Central Florida & Georgia will meet in South Orlando to all follow each other down to Miami as a group. It's going to be dark 1/2 way down, we have a few single cars, & some women that will be making this trek down to Key West so I personally just wanted this to be safer. We will get down to Miami & stay in a hotel/motel to which we will decide on soon. Then get up on Saturday & make our way to Snapper Creek for the REAL KEY WEST 2007 RUN!!! By going down that day earlier we are saving 4+ hours of driving and sleep time so we can REALLY focus and party in Key West basically! HEE HEE!

The Night in Miami some have shown interest of staying in a decent place near South Beach & some said cheaper near the highway is better. So we can all decide that in the upcoming months.

Also the exact time we can work with on meeting in South Orlando between those of us that are going. I know personally I can not leave any earlier than 1pm that day and do want to start driving down there way before 3:30.

Ofcourse as with the Beach Run last month I will have goodies for all that do this first part of the KEY WEST 2007 RUN!!!! WOOO WHOOO!

**IMPORTANT** Please let me know via PM if you are very committed in joining us or just flat at are for sure. This way we will keep you in the loop for all the major decisions that need to be made as a group doing this pre-run such as hotel & time for sure to meet! Thanks!

Hey Hot Legs...you know I'm in. I would like to meet up around 1ish, and head out by 2. That will give folks a window in which to make it to Orlando.

Glad to see the number has grown from the original 4. This is going to be FUN!

In Miami, I would perfer to party on the cheap, staying close to the Saturday meeting place. But, as you mentioned, there will be a number of ladies driving alone, so safety has to be the key issue. And safe parking also. I'm flexable on where we stay, but would prefer to spend more in KW and less in Miami.

Can't wait to see the goodies. I'm still playing with the last bunch. LOL

I am thinking I don't want to drive Sinister all that way honestly since I am racking up the miles on her like you wouldn't believe, so I am probably going to just ride with Shawn. NO MATTER WHAT what car I am in regardless I AM STILL GOING ON THIS RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

YUP I was thinking that too & if someone gets into Orlando before the meeting time they can always come by my office & wait till it's time to meet the others.

Nice Idea

Now that I am moving up to Tallahassee from Miami... Its a great idea to make the drive to Miami the day before.

I find it amazing... I see Skys all over Miami... Have seen some in Orlando.... but have not seen one in Tallahassee in six weeks.

That could work. I was also thinking of connecting with the group in Orlando and driving down with a whole bunch of cars.

You can add me to that list as well, now I am going to be driving from the North west side of South Carolina, 1 hour south of Asheville, I have yet to figure out how long it will take me to drive but it most likely is just like my trips back home to Canada. I plan to make this a mini vacation and will leave Thursday to head down there. I still have to find some places to stay once I am there. So just put me down and hopefully there will be other people from this area driving down there.

I just can not wait. the farthest I have been is to Daytona for the races.

Yea, I also plan on connecting with KimberlySky and her group in Orlando. Just thought it would be nice to run from Ocala to Orlando, about an hour and a half, with at least one other car, if not more. Any one else in the Ocala/Gainsville area, or northwest of here interested? PM me. Thanks.

YUP! That is why I wanted to get a list together so we can all decide and discuss some stuff when it gets closer like time,hotel etc.

If you are coming from Pens. beach then you can meet up with the rest of the Northerners around the top of Florida. Let me know when you plan to head to Pens beach, if you need a stop on the way down you can stay here in SC. Talk about it later
