*Rescheduled Sept Gulf Coast Roadster Meet*

We have rescheduled our meet for Sunday 21 Sept. to accommdate some more folks who work on Saturdays. We will meet at 10:45 in the Cracker Barrel parking lot just off I-10. It is the 2nd exit (Pine Forrest Road) past the Florida welcome center coming in from the West heading East. There is a large Cracker Barrel sign just before the exit on the right. We will then head to the National Museum of Naval Aviation for lunch at the Cubi Bar. We can then tour the museum, flight line and if desired take in an IMAX. (no entry fee for the museum or flt line tour) I will be hosting a cookout after we are done with the museum. Hope to see you!
P.S. Rumor has it there will be a new Carbon Flash sky joining us.
P.S.S. Pls let me know if you are attending the cookout. TKS, SKYMRK

Right now I am scheduled to be off. I will definitely be there for the ride to the museum and lunch.
I probably won't do the cookout.
Thanks, folks!

Mark, I'll be there. If we can get rid of these storms. We had nothing for 3 days then today we have had 9 inches of rain and still coming. It's been crazy. They say we could get up to 15 inches before Gustav leaves us.
I should be down on Saturday. Sign me up for the BBQ. What can I bring. Any preferences? See ya soon. Soaked in MS.

WOW! My backyard rain guage says we got a hair less than 4 inches. I guess a few miles west makes a lot of difference.

If you guys dont mind I would like to come and hang out. I am wanting to get an 09 model myself, but still looking for someone to buy the srt4 I have. I love my car, but have invested way to much into it for it to be a daily driver. I want to get something that I can enjoy to drive around all the time. I am looking to get exhaust, suspension work, and a tune on a sky when I get one and thats it.

How are the love bugs down there? Gustav blew em in here, and I was hoping Ike would blow them up to Tennessee or Ohio. Maybe they'll be gone by the 21st.

Loving each other and your car.... Plenty starting to show up. You just have to drive between them. Plus, they really kind of blend into that black paint

As I recall, the first time any of us on the Gulf Coast met, you arranged it and it was right in the height of love bug season. So, suck it up and bring a bottle of detail spray and some microfiber towels when you come.

I hear ya. We do have a good group. And I would have never guessed that I would ever have to clean the love bugs off two Skys.

Exit clarification

Just to make sure there is no confusion about the exit for Cracker Barrel. It is the 2nd exit from the Florida welcome center but is is marked Exit 7A. Coming from the east side it is exit 7. Both say Pine Forest Road. Should be good weather, now if we still have gas.....

Yes, the weather seems to be looking rather good for drop-top driving. It looks like cool (less that 90's) dry (less than 90%) is coming our way. We're looking foward to Sunday.
