Travel Channel tonight

For all of you that are planning on coming to our 2009 S.E.Regional meet here in MB, tonight you might want to watch the Travel Channel at 10:30. Samantha Brown the host was here with her crew a few months back filming the show that is on tonight. Hope the show makes up your mind about coming to our event.

So this is what I learned tonight for heading to Myrtle Beach in April:
1. I am going to go to the Crap Cake LADY Store, cause she makes the best crab cakes and she also at the age of 60 plus go's out every day to get crabs out of her traps and then go's back and makes dozens of crab cakes.
2. I am going to the HAMMOCK CO and as a NORTHERNER learn how to sit in a hammock and maybe buy one.
3.I am going to go Shagging with Judy at Fat Harold's Beach Club AND make a fool of myself.
4. I am going to go mini putting at the Hawaiian Rumble and show just how bad I am at golfing.
5. I am going to stop at the Carolina Gourmet Goodies shop and buy one of everything yummy.
6. I am going to head to the Myrtle Beach state park and enjoy unspoiled beaches, and while I am there I am going to rent a bike and ride through some very nice woodlands.
7. Lastly I plan to stop at the last amusement park 'Family Kingdom' and ride the SLING SHOT, runs at 5G's while attached, it is a reverse bungee, can you say NO WAY!!!!

Okay that was the whole show, I enjoyed it and most likely will do some of the things on the list. Even though I am a Canadian and apparently we are all suppose to go to Myrtle Beach, I have never been there, so this is going to be fun!!!!!!!!!!

Canadians Welcome

Kim, You will have to come to MB in March of 2009 it's Canadian-American Days 14th-22nd.A lot of them will be here till May. For a half hour show Samantha didn't get to show all the places and things to do.I promised KYGXP that our SC Club would bring a theme basket,by watching the show I think we found a place (Carolina Gourmet Goodies Shop) to buy the things we need to make a nice basket for her event.
