Virginia Beach Fun'n Sun 2008

Just got back from the annual Va Beach Fun'n sun car show. It was a beautiful day for it! Sunny with a cool breeze comming off of the ocean. Out of a couple hundred cars parked on the boardwalk, our sky was the only kappa. We got so many questions about it I feel we should get an advertising kickback from GM Maybe next year we can get enough kappa's registered for our own section as we were thrown in between corvettes and street rods. My favorite thing is the reaction of people who just can't believe it's a Saturn, and the people who told us they like it better than a vette. All in all, it was a beautiful day at the beach.

Oh

Cool. You got all of the props. Its nice hounded when driving a sky. Its amazing that the car still seems rare. I only seen one Sky when I was driving today in downtown Richmond on 95. A Black on Black Sky. I blew my horn, not because it was a Sky but just wondering why in the heck he had his top up. Ha Ha

omg

It's funny, I was the only one on the boardwalk, but I passed a midnight blue and a yellow sky on the way home. My wife gets a little mad when we are at the shows and people come by and call it a solstice. She is always quick to tell them the difference. She is very sensitive about her baby!!!

Yep! I would too, I am sure you take care of it and it should get the respect it deserves. No one has called mine a soltics yet. They just ask, what kind its. I'm like dont you see the emblem. It's kinda hard to miss. I plan to get down to that area a few times this summer, maybe we bump heads.

If you can get down here on the 12th of may, my good friend is organizing a car show to raise money for the Virginia beach SPCA. Details are on their website Southeastern Virginia Mustang Club: News. It cost $20.00 to enter and that comes with a goodie bag and dash plaque. Hope to see you there!!
