Virginia - Sky owners and Sky spotting...

Thought it might be interesting for Virginia Sky owners to have a thread to make their Sky ownership known. Also, a "shout out" thread for Sky spotting.

My signature gives the details of our Sky and for the most part it is a weekend toy (not a daily driver for either of us). Although my wife does occasionally take it out for a mid week spin or two.

Regarding Sky spotting - saw a white Sky heading east on I-66 this morning between Manassas and Fairfax. Wish I was heading the same direction and could have gotten a closer look at a white one.

When not in law school I am in the Fairfax area, I have only seen a white Sky in the area on breaks - it might have been the same one.

I have a silver graphite with a Hokies license plate frame if you ever see me in the beltway region.

I don't have my red redline yet (should have it by Christmas), but I am in Alexandria. I have seen a dark green N/A on Duke street, and a Bluestone two mornings ago at the south end of the Key Bridge...I think it ended up going onto the GW Parkway. Couldn't get a good enough look to see if ti was a RL or N/A.

If you get it by Xmas you'll have to put a bow on it, take a picture and post it for all the see. Hope it happens for you.

Somebody has a red/black Sky that I see parked regularly in Ashburn area. I look for it on the way home; it's the only one I'll see on a regular basis for awhile.

My family has actually already had 5 cars done from him so I will get some kind of discount. But I think the base price is like 750-800 for bumper, hood,mirrors, and lights. This hood also has amazing coverage as it goes about 1/2 way up the hood.

If you are intrested in the clear bra let me know and I will try to hook you up. He is not very easy to reach, but he does great work.

My commute is 13 mi from Fort Washington to Alexandria; count me in for a gathering of the faithful. I just had my dealer install the Saturn windscreen. I like it, but the cost is Really SKY High! $295 for part + ~$400 for 4 hrs to install. Nevertheless, I got to try it out with the top down on Thursday -- 62F on 14 Dec. Global Warming has both plusses & minuses...

So what with my limited "cage" driving (usually on 2-wheels), I have yet to see a Sky in this area (but have seen various Solstices).

Guess we'll see what the New Year brings to the area -- Happy Holidays All!

Cool thread guys! I know I don't qualify anymore, but I was born in Norfolk,VA and lived most of my childhood/teen years in Norfolk and Chesterfield (outside Richmond). I didn't realize you guys had so many RLs already...Here in NC there are only a few...I will be in the first in Greensboro, there was only one in Winston-Salem. Anyway, it's neat to see Sky guys and gals in the old homestead!!
