Who's white SKY with the RK Sport Hood from Florida???

Hey guys,

I clipped these pics from I believe it was SKYGazer's Pics.

Whos is the owner of the beautiful white/Tan Sky with the RK Sport Hood??

I have a few questions(Answer what questions you can, I understand if you don't want to give exact numbers):

1- Did you get your hood from Kappasphere or direct?

2- WHat did the body shop charge you to paint and install?

3- How did you get the other hood home, or did you?

4- How the heck did they ship you the hood, and did it come to you undamaged?

5- Is the RAM Air functional, does it hook up somehow to the intake box??

6- Did you notice a difference in performance?

7- Does the car run cooler?

8- Does all the lines line up?

9- How much weight do you save going fibreglass?

10- Any negatives, please elaborate.

Thanks in advance for answering me! NICE CAR, Love the color!

See how nice MIKE?!?!

HEY NOW that thing looked Bad @ss in real life. I called a few people when I was at the run that day and was like you aren't going to believe this.... and then text them the picture on my phone. The guy was very nice too, although I didn't get his name. I did walk over & said oh sorry just to let you know I am taking pictures of your car if you like it or not. He I don't think was sure how to "take me". I would certainly do that to Sinister if I had the chance.

The hood looks great from a distance, but up close you can see waves in the fiberglass. Sorry I'm not the one with the hood, just another polar white Sky with black and tan interior.

Really, see now a good body shop would see that and skim coat it before painting it! Where is Foose when you need him!!!!

Thanks, that is good to know, but the guy I would have doing my hood would take care of all that automatically. I think all Fibreglass parts come like that, at least my brothers Camaro hood needed skimming and sanding and prime prior to paint!

Do you know the owner??

NO! LOL Hey now the hood looked bad @ss... I didn't even notice if there was something wrong with it. I really liked it. For the guy... I didn't get his name I was just excited to see a younger cool looking kid there too! LOL He was kinda quiet, and either came with or knew another white SKY that had a younger Spanish couple in it. I went over to meet the girl but she didn't seem too thrilled. They all mostly just stayed together the whole day.

I know OB from the Saturn in Casselberry let some of his customers know about the run, so maybe there is a chance he is one of those guys rather than someone that sees & comes on our Forum here ya'll.

But if ya'll are mean and talking crap about the car then he for sure won't want to come on here. BE NICE!

He is not a member and doesn't really want to be. I talked to him at length regarding his hood. I ordered the entire kit from RK. When it arrived I was so
mad I called them for a RA. The hood came with lots of waves in it and was missing hardware. They advertised ready to paint and install.....no frigin way. The side skirts were not so bad untill I discovered that once they are on they are a bear to get off. With skirts installed you cannot remove the battery if needed. The spoiler took lot's of work to get the bumps out but that is the only thing I kept. His hood in no way lined up with the body lines. Although the scoop could be functional his is not, The top vents loook horrible ( uneven cuts ) and he has grill work over them. He has the skills to make it right but he admitted that some quality control from that company is needed. Customer service was almost non existant.

Thanks for saving me aggravation Barry, much appreciated. Those are the types of things I was hoping NOT to hear. Oh well, I will wait for someone else to come out with something!
