XM SPEED JAM INDY WEEKEND MARCH 29th, Homestead Speedway

On March 29th, Homestead Miami Speedway will be hosting the Indy Car race. They are also having a car show and a concert by Three Doors Down. SSP - Car Club of Florida will be attending and will like to extend an invitation to anyone on the forum that would like to meet the club and join us for the show and races.

The price of the show is $30 and includes the following;

Car Show Parking next to the Grand Stands
Concert by Three Doors Down
Junior Indy Car Race
Rolex Series Sports car race
Indy Car Race under the lights
Car show with trophys

There will be a chili cook-off, autograph session with the Indy Drivers, Carnival rides and much more.

SSP will be meeting up at the SW 120th Street (Snapper Creek) Turnpike Plaza and driving together to the Show. Those who join us and attend the Car Show on the 29th will be allowed to join us on Sunday March 30th to take laps with your car on the Homestead Miami Speedway Oval. Okay folks remember. We are meeting at 7:30 am at the Snapper Creek Service Plaza. That is the Service Plaza right before SW 120 Street. On the South Bound side of the Turnpike. For those members who have Polos, please remeber to where them. For thos of you that Ordered them I should have them with me to give to you for the show. We will be rolling out around 8:15 am. DON"T BE LATE!! For those who paid me in advance for your ticket I will pass them out once we are in front of the gate at Homestead Miami Speedway.

I recommend bring a cooler with drinks and snacks. Unless, you don't mind paying $6 for a coke. I also suggest you bring a folding chair to chill when we are by our cars.

There is going to be hundreds of people at this show, so please be vigilant! Keep an eye on not only your car, but those of your fellow members. Feel free to sush!! anyone away from the cars and remind them to please to not touch the cars!!! When not next to your car I suggest you close your trunk and doors and lock them. When a show is this big a few of us including myself like to remove our license plate. That way no one can track down your car later and break in because they know what you got in it.

ON SUNDAY FOR THE TRACK DAY We will meet at the same Service Plaza at 8 am. We will cruise to the track together and take our laps. Jonathan (our SSP Photographer) will take advantage that we are all together and at the track to take some nice photos of our cars. We will be taking individual shots and shots of the group. My wife will also be taking video of the track day.
