Just thought we needed a new thread now that the 5/6/07 gathering is history. Anyone with any ongoing thoughts, let's post ideas.

Yes definitely, I've been thinking...telegraph cruise(between taylor and dearborn hgt) 1 DAY EVENT...Woodward cruise 3-4 day event....the difficult part is finding a meeting place..I am keeping my ears open.

Last year, for the Woodward cruise, we met up at Cranbrook in the parking lot. It worked really well....We then somehow, got some spots down on Woodward. We went on Thursday night, I believe.

Kurt, I went to Kalamazoo Saturn on Saturday, there were no sky's available!!! They were asking to buy mine back.

I would have another store look for it, that way you have two options. Worked for me!

Jason, we were in Columbus Ohio (yes, I thought of the Central Ohio Custom Kappas while I was there) over the weekend. Just a little advertisement here: I am now totally trained to administer Botox, facial fillers, and use medical lasers. Hopefully it will help me afford my Sky.
Now as to your comment: We went past a Saturn dealership down there and I had to pull in and gawk: there were two on the lot, one silver with red inside and one black, but both bases. I could hardly resist yelling "Go to WWW.SKYROADSTER.COM!" to the folks getting ready for a test-drive. And on the way home I decided to go to Grand Rapids and get my name on another list. So this week I do that.

Edit: TODAY (5/23/07) I did that. Now on the list at GR and K'ZOO.

I am considering selling my RL, in July, as I now want an 08. Time to change colors... I would llike to contact your guy at KZoo Saturn to see what kind of price I could get. (I will PM you, Jason)

I have not been following used RL sales and I wonder what I could get from a dealer and be done with it. Or do I try to advertise it here or somewhere to get "retail"? I would be nice to break even but, maybe I am too optomistic....

What do you guys think?

Next Monday 6/4 will be 2 weeks since she placed the order so I will be looking for some info the end of this week or early next week on their arrival to the embroiderer... I will let you know as soon as I find anything out. I see Sabrina (the Store Mgr) every day or so & she is on top if it.

My wrist is getting stronger every day. Looks like the relief gained from the Carpal Tunnel Surgery is working. Time will tell tho. Almost 1 month since the surg.... Thanks for asking.

Here's an odd thought...5/23 Saturn at Grand Rapids lets me pop $500 on a deposit, and 5/31 they call me to place my order. All the while, Saturn of Kalamazoo has claimed that they have me at "the top of the list to order" since mid February. Am I just gullible and stupid to believe that Kalamazoo really has me at the top of any list still? Right now I can't wait to drive in there when I get my Sky and ask for my $500 deposit back.
The run to Hell sounds great. The motorcycle groups do it all the time, they must be busy with tourism. I've seen a postcard from there with a little waterfall on it, and you know in the winter that Hell does freeze over, of course. That's probably when Saturn of Kalamazoo will call me to suggest re-ordering!

This is quite funny Kurt! That is exactly how my order went. Grand Rapids called, they ordered the car, then I get a call from Kalamazoo about three weeks later and they have my car there! GR must have changed their policy on deposits though, it was $100. Either way, I want to see that car before the end of summer!

GR is bigger, but they seem to be a little slower sometimes. The race is on...who gets the sale first?

Mine was bayed on the 5th of December, didn't get to Kzoo till the 28th! I am sure the holidays didn't help either. I will be in Gr tomorrow, I will get some information for you.

Yaaaa, actually it was Monday for the appt. I found out nothing, but, if you wanted a solstice, you can pick from at least a dozen across the street. I know your surprised, but they had no info.
