Yep.. .that is a Kolb Twinstar.... Brian is fabricating a fusilage... or however it is spelled.. cuz this one came without.. but... is made with one.... I cant wait til it gets done... I might go up in it.. not sure yet... I am a chicken... I may also get my lic... But... I want a production plane.... not a homebuilt... .I know.. I know... they are just as safe.. but it is just my head telling me to get a Cessna.... LOL........ We love it here and it is a great place to entertain... I'd like to thank Aubrey and Brian for hosting such a nice BBQ! I had a great time and I hope you all did as well! The weather was windy, but warm and I got fried...again!!

Skip - I'm so glad you were able to join us again this year! It was great to see you and you looked fantastic!! I'm also glad you were able to make a quick stop in Wenona and we could do a little NEO Far West Caravan action Sunday morning! You pass by my way again and we'll caravan again! Even if it is only for 12 miles...just to say we've done it!

Great seeing so many familiar faces! It's been awhile for some! And hopefully, we'll see a bunch of you again on Saturday!!!

We finally got the pics downloaded from the camera, so I've attached a few. Keith even got up on that ladder to see what the photog was seeing.

Me bean tha resident redneck an all, well I had ta go ta tha party or tha world wood have callipsed on itself. On tha way to tha festivities I spied sum dang good road kill an almost stopped. It were a big ol deer but it had a hard leg stance sos I knowed it had rigor set in an tha meat was nasty by then. Most of tha deer I dun seen on tha side of tha road was about tha same. I was gettin mighty hungry ganderin at all this wasted meat. When I got back home I saw in my local rag of a newspaper that Illinois had decided ta not pick up roadkill an let it rot on tha side of tha road fur money reasons. I say that it is a waste not ta pick up roadkill cause cuttin tha highway grass can be unsettlin ta grind up Bambi after it be in tha last stages of decomp. Much less driven down tha interstate an havin ta smell tha decomp as yall be wiskin bye. But cause I saw this hear meat an it not bean respectfully pleasant fur dinner time I decided ta not pick up vittles on tha way ta Aubreys house fur tha party. I be guessin that she was happy just ta see me an even though I did not bring her a present of road side roadkill. But next time I see her an Brian I mite just have sum good possom or treerat meat fur them....Skip....

Yes Bambi survived and just one little edge had thawed. But it is in the freezer now and I gots ta go on line and find me a good recipe for ground up deer meat...Skip..It has been awhile since I cooked deer meat....
