Starved Rock Run - Take 2

Anyone gonna be up for another Starved Rock Run this year? A real one where we actually get to drive the fun stuff on RT 71!!!!

No Off-Roading...I promise!

I'm thinking around the same timeframe as last year. 1st or 2nd weekend in June. Date TBD.

Same idea as last year. Maybe meet up in Morris around 11:00 am. Eat either at the Marina or in Utica. We can check out Buffalo Rock too and I'll see about another cookie tour.

It's cold...let's think warm thoughts!!!

This is the first sign of spring, Diane doing her thingy with the starved rock run. Sounds like fun, I hope to be there.

It's not a huge deal, but it's kinda fun. We started at Morris, IL last year right off of I-80 and took back roads to Starved Rock with a stop at the Starved Rock Marina for lunch.

Had about 16 cars last year and we did it in one big group.

If it is the 2nd weekend..... or if the grandbaby comes before the date... Count me in.... SkyBaby Landon is due between.... May 19 and June 6... Docs keep going back and forth on these dates.... LOLOL.... Landon will make up their mind for them!!!

Oh I'm sure!! Well, nothing set in stone yet. We thought it would be fun to do it again and I had it in the back of my mind that we would...so we shall!!

I finally worked out a good back road route to Morris too if anyone wants to drive to Morris with us (Great back road and some nice sights)
